First hens starter kit: nest box, feeder and drinker

Before your first hens arrive you need three things: somewhere to lay, food and water. This kit brings the basics for a small flock.

What's included

• 2-hole wooden nest box: natural fir wood with an asphalt roof that resists rain and sun, and a base raised on legs to keep out moisture. Measures 66 × 37 × 34 cm; assembly required.
• 12-slot floor feeder: individual slots let several hens eat at once without stepping in the feed or wasting it. Made of strong plastic, easy to clean, and works for water too.
• 3-litre automatic drinker: gravity-fed, with detachable legs that lift it off the ground and a handle for carrying, so you refill it less often.
• 2 coconut-fibre mats: 30 × 30 cm, to give the nests a soft base that is easy to clean.
